How to Defend a Player in the Low Post

  1. When the defenders backs you down, use your forearm or hand (one or the other) to brace the player.
  2. Make sure to get lower than your opponent, and have your upper body very stable.
  3. Read his move, take away your opponets 1st move & make him go to his 2nd move instead.

Remember: Stay low. Keep your eyes up and on the defender to detect his reaction. Your footwork should be pronounced enough so you can hear your shoes squeak!
